Child Portrait Session | Alice In Wonderland | South Florida

This session location was literally a dream come true! I sat on this idea for months because I couldn’t find just the right location to capture my vision in. That was until a friend of mine showed me pictures in his phone of his daughter playing in her grandparent’s back yard. Or should I say a magical land that was down the street from me! I told him that I HAD TO come see this property so a few days later, Walker hound and I popped by in the morning to explore for a bit. We were both pretty enchanted by everything we saw (or sniffed in his case lol). From there, the ideas fell into place quite perfectly.

I scheduled the session with the three girls a couple weeks later and Walker came to join in on the fun with his Mad Hatter hat;)
To see children arrive at a whimsy session brings my inner child back to the surface again. Their eyes are wide eyed in excitement and they immerse themselves within the session just like any other day at play. One of the girls said “This place is like an enchanted land!” Oh and it was- tree branches hanging from every corner with little lanterns hidden with in their leaves. Colorful flowers peeking out from around each corner. A bird bath with a beautiful rabbit within the center of it. All that was missing were bubbles which I supplied and hid behind all the gorgeous growth. And I might add that everyone should invest in a bubble machine because they are quite fabulous! The girls had never met before but it didn’t matter, they clicked instantly and were immediately in Wonderland together. I hope you enjoy these photographs as much as I enjoyed capturing them.
