Child Portrait Session | Tom Sawyer | New Hampshire

There are session ideas and visions I have that will marinate in my brain for awhile. This session was one of them. There were two things missing, the location and the subjects. These two brothers were scheduled a stylized session and I knew that they were the subjects that I had been waiting for. Four and two years old; the perfect age and imagination for a Tom Sawyer fishing session in New Hampshire. The location where these images were captured had not changed a bit since I was a kid. This was also not just a perfect August morning in New Hampshire but it was also the day of the full solar eclipse- there was real magic in the air!

The boys arrived in suspenders and page boy hats. Their eyes grew and sparkled with imagination when they arrived and were handed their very own fishing poles. They pointed out the fish that were swimming around and told me about the fairies that were flying around and sitting in the trees. We had so much fun!
