Maternity Session | Jennie | California Coast

There is something really special about one of your life long friend’s expecting their first baby, especially when the gender is kept as a surprise. Will it be a baby boy or will it be a baby girl adding to the girl posse of 20 years?

Flying out to the opposite coast is always a treat. I was headed there to see one of my bff’s in Long Beach and to attend her baby shower. We reminisced about the good ‘ol days and how it was crazy to think that there was a baby on the way. We decided to capture some maternity photos during my visit and headed to Rancho Palos Verdes for sunset were the cliffs of the California coast turned into smooth stoned beaches. We parked in a beautiful residential area and walked the long paths all the way down to the beach area.

The thing is, when you are trying to capture images of a friend that you have a million inside jokes with, it can be difficult not to be crying with laughter together. It was truly a fabulous day with Jennie and an honor to capture her radiance during such a wonderful milestone.
