When Clonakilty Distillery reached out for some creative shots with their Tauth glasses and ‘well-balanced’ Irish whiskey, I excepted the challenge!

When a client gives me a complete green light for creativity and ideas, it’s heaven for me! A well-balanced whiskey was taken quite literally for this shoot.
These Tauth glasses are a bit tricky when it comes to balancing them; they have a 3-point triangle base that also is not even with the thickness of glass. Using the balanced lines in the background from a room divider we have in our house I thought would give the images a straight and balanced background in contrast to the diagonal lines of the balancing glasses.
The bottle and glasses needed to be elevated just a bit off to have that nice distinct separation from the main light covered surface. A gorgeous handcrafted charcuterie board from Madera Fine Goods was used just for that.
